I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to upholding the highest standards of inclusive care for all individuals. I have 16 years of experience as a PMHNP, diagnosing and treating mental health concerns and substance use disorders.

I'm passionate about ensuring people are treated with dignity and deeply committed to finding ways to honor the uniqueness of each individual and to increase access to care for all. Much of my career has focused on working with people that have been overlooked by our systems such as those in the LGBTQIA+ community, racially marginalized communities and women.

I received a Bachelor of Arts from Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA, where I focused on environmental and Native American studies. I subsequently received a Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University and then worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for 3 years. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, I found myself consistently concerned for the mental health of women experiencing birthing complications, pregnancy loss or emergency c-sections. At the same time, I was witnessing people in my LGBTQ community struggle to find mental health providers that truly understood and prioritized their experiences. Propelled by these concerns, I returned to school at the University of South Florida to obtain a Master of Science and become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. In this role, I’ve had the opportunity and honor to assist people in finding hope, stability, purpose and connection.

My ongoing interest in exploring emerging treatments for those who may not have found success with traditional options led me to complete formal training in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy through Psychedelic Research and Training Institute (PRATI) in Colorado and Ketamine Training Center (KTC) in California. In my free time, I find solace and inspiration in the natural world. Whether hiking in the mountains or along the ocean or just sitting in a beautiful and peaceful spot, these experiences continually remind me of the restorative connection between mind and environment.
